You are welcome here
Welcome to The Book Group!  We were formed one evening when a few book lovers were sitting in the fellowship hall discussing their favorite (non-church) books. One of them had the idea of starting a book group, and the other two thought it was a great idea. All three immediately thought of at least one other person they knew who would be interested. The first meeting consisted of 5 people. Seven people attended the next meeting. Anyone who loves books and reading is welcome to join. Please note that The Book Group does not read "church" books, feeling that Sunday Morning Bible Study, and other Bible studies throughout the year fulfill that need.
Our next meeting is Sunday, November 25, 4pm at Old Dominion Distillery.

"A grave robber and a corpse reunite Navajo Tribal Police Lt. Joe Leaphorn and Officer Jim Chee. As Leaphorn seeks the identity of a murder victim, Chee is arresting Smithsonian conservator Henry Highhawk for ransacking the sacred bones of his ancestors. As the layers of each case are peeled away, it becomes shockingly clear that they are connected, that there are mysterious others pursuing Highhawk, and that Leaphorn and Chee have entered into the dangerous arena of superstition, ancient ceremony, and living gods."
